Knife badge - impossible

Tried to get it earlier today, but have been unsuccessful, I got 5 knife kills 5 times or so but then the round ended.

I was playing on a 64/64 Karkand server, any other good servers (in Europe/sweden) for the knifebadge?

Also several of the hits didn't seem to register. I stabbed 10+ guys several times without anything happening. It's like the knife would have to be in the guy before stabbing him if you want to kill him, else he'd just noob-tube your face.

I think I got over 40 knife kills during the time I tried getting it...


Why does everyone noob-tube you when you are running towards them with a knife? You scare them with that POS weapon?

keep trying man, it isn't easy, had some probs getting it to.

Finaly got it on karkand, US side, run down hill, left side of building and try to get behind those fences, always some MEC's there very close

its not impossible its just hard to get,especially the silver and gold

Already got 50+ kills so I'm going to get the silver one.

Will try on Sharqi. Which side should I play on, MEC or USMC? On Karkand USMC is the only way (at least in the begining of a round).

It is actually possible to get it almost accidently, i still haven't got it yet but earlier on i manged too get 4 knife kills in one go and i wasn't intending to do it but i was in a enemy base and saw a sniper so i knifed him then saw another sniper and knifed him then came across another guy and knifed him then came up behind a guy and knifed him too!

I got another 2 knife kills after that aswell, i didn't quite make it but i nearly did :)

Try not to get too close when you stab, if youre pushing against them it misses. I got it on karkand after many tries, be single minded, watch the tickets. If youre not half way to the badge by the mid point forget it and try again next round.
Just keep trying it will come but expect some miserable rounds on the way.

was just messing around and got 15 or so in a round, not hard if the enemies are stupid and standing around :)

Try to make 7 kills in a round, that will work.

For me the Knife Badge is cake easier than the pistol badge...The Pistol
badge was a pain in the *** to get....

The key to the pistol badge is really rapid firing. Thats how i got it. Strafe like crazy and charge them while firing off shots like no tomorrow. Bunnyhop if neccesary. It's actually kind of fun. With the knife badge, i find stat padding for it works. jk

Had my basic pistol very quick, combinated it with the basic sniper. :)

Seconded on that.

With the knife, you only have to hit 'em once 'n they go down.
With the pistol, you can put a round in the back of their head and they STILL have time to spin around and blow you away with their much better assualt rifle.

Advice:
Find a server that allows spawn camping.

Don't run around with your knife out all the time. Stick with your assualt rifle until you are actually in position to stick someone. Otherwise, you'll end up being caught at range by the enemy over and over and woun't live long enough to get into cutting position.

Observe your enemies. Move in behind them without drawing attention to yourself. 99% of the time, people are so focused on what they are doing that they forget to check their 6. Backs are made for holding knives.

I had more trouble trying to knife people on very busy servers. With a higher population, you are more likely to end up in someone's sights before you can get into good killing positions. 32 play Kark with 40 players on is good. 64 players on the same map makes it very hard to be sneaky.

Dodge 'n rush. When you end up having to take someone out who's seen you, your best bet is to rush 'em while strafing hard to the left or right. Don't bother trying to get your stab in until you've moved really close and to the side of your victem. Otherwise, you are likely to just get a face full of lead.

If you find a sniper, kill him, but don't waste time just sniper hunting. The rounds aren't going to last long enough for you to make your required kills just off them.

On karkand ppl are prepared for close quarters combat so i found it easier to get knife badges etc. on maps where other players least suspect it...

Like is said, try to get it as a sniper, most of the peeps will advice you to be medic so you can med yourself, they've got a point but:

All the snipers suits looks the same, use this to cunfuse the enemy; i got my basic knife badge by playing MEC sniper on Karkand. What i did is, i spawned on the most south flag (can't recall the name at the moment), and went round to get "in line" with to USMC soldiers, to knife them one by one.

Also UAV is very handy!

Find out what is best for you, i've read many tips on how to get badges in this forum which won't work for me, less did. So spend time on finding tips and most important try them actualy in a server. Sooner or later you will succeed!
