what will happen when bf2: sf is out

what will happen with special forces is out, will all the servers die down for the regular game, will ea not make anymore patches for the regular game, I think this expansion will suck and really screw up this game. whats gonna happen to all these mods that are coming out

i think no matter how much lipstick they put on it, it will still be a pig. i can't wait to have to give 2gb+ just to play the expansion...

SF will be like a new toy u get for christmas, fun for awhile but quickly grow tired of it...i think the mods are going to suffer the most. everyone still wants to play on ranked servers....i think DICE screwed the game up by making rankings...

what i hate most about sf..which will make me not want to buy the game isthe nightvision..ive never really liked nightvision cuz it takes away from the textures and makes the game look bad and since they have night vision..maps will be all dark...ugh

I foresee EA ripping people off and getting their usual release sales. Then a patch for the many problems that really doesn't do much but maybe change the cursor in the server browser, then since the Special Forces mod is released and EA has your money, they'll probably release a patch for the mod since the fear of people getting hooked on quality mods before they get your money will be gone.

Of course, after the release, this forum will be loaded with "SPECIAL FORCES CRASHED I WANT MY MONEY BACK" and "OMG <insert player name> IS HACKING ALREADY!!1!!111 THEY HAVE A LIGHT HACK AND CAN SEE ME IN DARK!!!"

only like 3 of the 7 maps are in the dark... and at that learn how to snipe, a GREEN suit will hardly show up in the green filtering

Nothing Will Happen To BF2.
Special Forces is gonna simply be a Very Nice Mixture, and Add On, (thats what it is) for the game.
It will be simply "NICE" to go from a few Special Forces Maps, and then to a few Regular BF2 maps........in a rotation.
Although some servers will be 24-7 Special Forces... i just think having a few Special Forces Maps in rotation will be a nice "break" from the hodrum maps that are bf2. In my opinion, of course

How could you tire of..........
FlashBangs, ZipLines, Grappling Hooks, New Weapons, Tear Gas, New Maps, HIND, APACHE, 4 wheelers, Jet Skis, New Armies, New Textures, New Statics, NIght Vision and a whole lot more i cant even remember.........?????

I dont get it myself. This is gonna be damn fun. Hell, the jet skis and 4 wheelers alone, give you something to do "OFFLINE" .....lol.

I was hoping they'd have integrated servers, running BF2 maps and SF maps.
Is that possible?
So when you joined a server the map list would run through Dalian Plant and the other 11 BF2 maps along with the maps from the SF expansion Pack.

Not sure if that would be possible but it would provide a bit of variety.

Regardless will still be playing the Vanilla BF2 alongside SF, at least until the novelty wears off.
