    Re: Blue Screen!

    Do you have any problems with other games?

    After changing gfx card it may be worth reinstalling BF2 (or there are files you can delete to achieve the same goal).

        Check your Event Viewer and see if any entries are made at the time of crashing, then post the contents here.

        Or...post the text message of the blue screen of death here.

            My Documents\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\cache

            Delete anything you see in there.

            I'm still waiting on an answer to my above questions though...

              Re: Blue Screen!

              Sorry, but the blue screen error is more serious than just deleting some files as it's more like a prob with Windows install or a hardware error.

              Could you let us know what the error code is in the blue screen?

              The files in the /my docs/BF2/cache/ dir are the ones to remove but I doubt that's your solution.

                  Check your Event Viewer log for detailed information.

                  Start->Run->'eventvwr' and hit Enter

                      Open up the 'Application' and 'System' sections and look for a date and time stamped entry that matches the time of the blue screen error.

                      Double click the entry to bring it up and copy and paste the error info here.

                          You might want to try a registry scan:

                          e.g. http://www.scanforfree.com/registryfix.htm

                          Otherwise, you need to test your memory.
