cant play due to ''invaild cd-key'' error

yes, as the title states, i can NOT play with the bf2 patch3, and the unpacthed servers are the gayest(no low ping ones for where i am) so i am basically forced to not be able to play this game, i went to ea website, and i found the ''fix'' and everything that was in it did not work, ive tried reinstalling several times and nothing..

what really annoys me is that it was working fine the other night when it was patched, then i go and play today and it doesnt work, this is pretty annoying(i only just got this game on nov 2nd), id like any help thats available, thanks

Run Battlefield 2_code.exe in the support subdirectory of BF2.
