Fits of rage?

This game makes me insane. Anyone else have fits of rage over the multitude of stupidity associated with this game?

I just now destroyed a keyboard over this stupid game. I just got blown up on a runway because some idiot on my team thought throwing mines 1/2 way down the runway was funny. It wasn't.

I see a BH coming in so I rush over to the AA missiles. As soon as I get there, just in time to hop in and shoot down the BH, I get this interminable pause of about 5 secs. It just came out of nowhere, and of course I ended up dead. I just went f'ing nuts. I'm so sick of this game doing crap like that. I have a 2.4 GHz Athlon 64, 6800 grafics card, 2 GBs ram, so it's not my system pausing, it's the game.

I have played online games for years. I know that pausing happens sometimes because of network traffic. Sometimes I wonder if it's really that and not the game itself. I don't know, I just know that this game is often times the most frustrating gaming experience I have ever had. It's always something almost every day. Earlier today I was playing Oman. The round ended and I could tell it was switching maps so I hit escape about 5 times to get back to the server browser. I took me back to the server browser for a second, long enough to fool me. I took a drink of soda and the next thing I know the fool thing is loading the map from the server I thought I had quit from. I then hit escape about 5 times to stop the loading. It then sits there for 2-3 mins unloading resources. I almost went insane. It's that kind of crappy programming that makes me crazy.

Look, you can call he the stupid one for letting a game get to me. That's fine, I freely admit I am an emotional person. That doesn't mean the game is not frustrating. I'm sure I'm not alone.

the game requires too much of a pc system and internet. That why this game kinda blows.
It's like doing great as a pilot (for once), dodging missiles, killing enemy with the gun, go to do a simple loop... PAUSE... 5 seconds later you are in the water dead.
I think it's either PB scaning your system doing it, or BF2 is doing something that requirs too much power.

Frustrating at times, yes.
Rage inducing, no.

You need to take a step back if things are going to drive you that buggy.
Emotional or not, it's a game and not worth THAT kind of energy.

Meh... not everyone.
There's times when I've become totally frustrated with my team/squad/random retards... but then I just log off and do something else.

Maybe the OP needs to smoke a lill weed before he plays...

Anger is a mental disorder. If the games causes you become raged.. you might want to seek professional help.

mmmm... trees... thats what i'm trying to get right now, except my two dealers got bagged two weeks ago... besides its been so dry around here... no nugs, except for dirty mexi schwag... but 50 beans for 30 g is not bad

that lag u experience is because since bf2 uses so much memory.. pb trying to update in the background, sometimes pauses the game.. frustrating isn't it... and also for some reason Dice dicided to make the game take lots of badthwith meaning ull always experience lag of some sort unless u got >T1 or something

Dude get a stress ball or rip your hair out or kick the cat yell at ur sis punch the dog scream at the comp screen just dnt hurt the computer what ever you do this happened to me once and i really get into the game then i died because of some spawn camper so i kicked ma comp and it turned off and never ever started so i had to buy a whole new system its not the best system but hey it plays bf2 so think b4 u act do anything but take it out on the computer
