reboots

i been playing bf2 for months now, but since the past tuesday, the game gets to the start up menu..but as soon as i join a server whether it's multiplayer or single player...as soon as the map starts to load my whole computer reboots...i don't know whether is a hardware problem or a software problem.....i tried updating all the drivers and uninstalling and reinstalling, turned all the settings on the lowest...checked my power suppl...all the other games are running fine including farcry doom3 and hl2....but those games suck i just want to play bf2 but it don't work!!!

I'm running on P4 3.4ghz processor wit a xfx 7800 gt wit 2 gigs of ram..

please give me some feedback if you anyone out their encounted the same problems or knows anything about it......

I'm having the same issue. BF2 worked fine for me for 2 months and now (last 5 days starting Sunday) I keep getting BSD or hard reboot about 15 seconds after I join a server.

Running an Ath 2800, 1.5 G ram, 6600 GT, generic 400 watt PSU.
Obviously the usual suspects are possible causes, drivers, Windows maintenance, etc... It just smells funny that a bunch of people are having the same issue recentlly...Hard to figure.

These are signs that there are problems with either the video card or the memory.
