Strange error; anyone else get this?

For the past couple of weeks, I've been getting a strange set of errors:

• Sometimes I get trapped in a squad (i.e. can't leave even unlocked squads)
• Often in concert with the first problem, I can't spawn on my squadleader at all, only control points ... this one happens alone as well, though
• Also post-1.03, a few of my key assignments seem to have been reset to defaults (primarily voice comm.)

I have no mods at all, just a dead-stock installation of BF2 witb the 1.02 & 1.03 patches. Any ideas? (other than the stock "reinstall" advice ... I'll do that if I need to, but it's a gluteal discomfort)

I get the locked in a squad or cant join/make a squad bug alot.

This happens to a friend of mine I play with all the time.

Drives us BOTH crazy cuz he has to leave the server to fix the problem.

Had an error the other day when I spawned i couldnt move at all. Happened again afte suiciding to try to fix it????

I joined a game with a friend of mine. The game wouldn't let me click a spawn point. I had to get my buddy to create a squad and I was able to join on him ... only to get killed. Then it was fine.

i get that bug sometimes.. n also the damn red tag friendlies...

Same here. Get locked in squads, and can't create a new squad.

I also noticed that during some of those same games, I experienced the bug where squads end up with more than 6 people.

Wow. Good to know that I'm not alone in these errors, I guess. So does anyone have any non-reinstall solutions or things to check?

We've had the can't create squads bug.

I have to restart the server to get it to work again.

I get the cant spwan on the squad leader, i dont no y there must b a reason and could someone tell me it

yes, I have a buddy that joins my squad everytime I play.. around 20%
of the time he is not capable of spawning on me, for no apparent
reason.. Its just another fluke in BF2s programming.. which by the way
has dozens of these little quirks..
