Hello All:
I am fairly new to BF2, but have been playing the Demo since just after it was release. About a month ago I bought the retail version and have been spending a lot of time playing as commander (whenever someone with higher rank doesn't take it first). Lately however, I can not get my commander screen to come up.
About a week ago I tried to change my name and start a new account, but after I deleted my current account I found all the names I wanted and their varients that I liked were already taken. So, I retreived my account and put up with all the help flags that pop up every time I came close to a radar station or changed kits. However, when I opted to be commander, I now only get the usual Kit/Squad screen when I push the Caps Lock button. I can not get the commanders screen to come up and am unable to oversee the battlefield to order artillery or UAV. I cant even drop a supply crate when asked to do so.
Can anyone tell me if this is an issue with my own computer/program, or did I do something at the server when I retreived my account?
Either way, can someone tell me what I need to do to get it corrected again?
