The moments that gave you that warm fuzzy feeling inside.
Re: The moments that gave you that warm fuzzy feeling inside.
One time on wake there were 2 enemies in a bunker and one was coming around trying to flank me, so I throw a grenade in the bunker and turn around and knife the guy behind me, killed em both!
Another time I parachuted from our black hawk right next to an anti-tank and a support, so i knife the anti-tank and (tried) to knife the support, but he layed down and killed me.
And I can remember at least 2 times I knifed someone cowering in a bunker.
Re: The moments that gave you that warm fuzzy feeling inside.
I was playing wake island last night. enemy drove upto flag and tried to park jeep behind a house to avoid fire. I took one shot with sniper rifle and got his head while he was turning. No one noticed, or cared but I thought I was cool
Re: The moments that gave you that warm fuzzy feeling inside.
I was on China on Wake Island. We had lost every point and only me and one other were still alive. He was going to the Beach and I was in a tank. I rolled over there as he was standing by the flag.
Inevitably, all the enemy started spawning at that point. I stayed up on the hill right in the middle and laid down cover fire. Had about 10 kills during that period. He eventually captured the flag and our entire team spawned there. We stormed the airfield took it back and eventually won the round.
Another time I was a medic, we were losing 2-1. My two squad members got killed by two guys. I take the two guys out and revive both of them with no more than 5 seconds left on their time left. We win the round 1-0. That was great. My two kills and two revives were the deciding factor.
On Gulf of Oman. I was an engy in a tank with 2 APC and another tank, all engy. We stuck together and raped everyone. If any of us got hit, we were healed almost instaneously. I died ONCE at the hand of a plane, I think, it may have been an attack heli. I was the only one to die. . . but i just jumped back in my tank and joined up again.
Re: The moments that gave you that warm fuzzy feeling inside.
Getting down to zero spawns (over 100pt difference in tickets) - only you and two others left alive - not in the same squad. You manage to get a spawn back, and ultimately bring the score back around to winning with 5 tickets to spare. I took the gold on the map and got 8 titles on the summary screen.
I actually jumped out of my chair and yelled f**k yeah! Went downstairs and grabbed a beer and had a smoke before returning for the next round - lmao.
Re: The moments that gave you that warm fuzzy feeling inside.
Playing Mashtuur [sp?] on the hill I think, lower spawn with the flag that controls the MEC chopper pad. A squad of 5 guys had been runnning around in 2 jeeps quickly capping flags like the BH days [1.03.] I get killed as they come in to cap the flag. All alone I decide to spawn at the top spawn/ chopper pad as SF. I put all 5 C4 on the jeep up there and the flag goes neutral. I'm half way down the road at full speed plus downhill gravity when the flag goes US and they start jumping in their HUMVEES. It's a foggy map so I just start seeing them getting back in in the distance and one jeep is starting to pull away as I eject and the jeep goes between them.
KABOOM !!!!!
All 5 are dead and I'm just thrilled with myself plus my clanmates go nuts on TS because of the kill report.
I shoulda picked up someone's kit for better ammo but was to thrilled to think straight.
No way I can take the flag in time so I run to the back ladder and get onto the roof. They all respawn there and I tie them up for about a minute trying to get a gun kill or 2. They get me with launchers eventually but priceless moment for sure.
Cheap some will say but there's a silly sense of satisfaction with a Jihad jeep, always gets me giggly.
Re: The moments that gave you that warm fuzzy feeling inside.
I was playing on the Wake Island map in a 64 player battlefield. I was on the Chinese side and took my favorite sniping spot. It's at the flag on the beach at the lower portion of the map. I jump up on the pipe to the concrete bunker and then jump on top and scooch in next to the vents. I like to snipe there because it gives good cover and protection. Sometimes I can go through an entire battle without ever getting noticed.
I am sniping as usual and I notice that we lost the flag where I am at. I can't jump down because I know I would be dead instantly, so I sit up there and keep sniping. I hear two Americans in the bunker below me and there is a hole in the roof. I am down to two grenades so I stand up real quick and drop one in. I get two quick kills. I then hear them calling for the medic and hear the "Clear, now get back to the fight soldier" message, and then hear it again. So I know they are alive again. I drop another grenade down there and get 3 more kills because the medic is still there. I see two more people run in and toss my last grenade in there and kill them both. Since I am out of grenades, I drop a claymore down the hole. Lay back down to snipe and one of the ones I killed with the last grenade figures out where I am and shoots me and then…..yep you guessed it, while I am waiting to respawn, he runs into the bunker and eats the claymore. I just sat there laughing while waiting to respawn.
Re: The moments that gave you that warm fuzzy feeling inside.
Any time some clown is camping in a MEC tank or APC on Karkand on the eastern road during the initial fight...sneak down the east, smoke a sniper and a nade launcher guy with the 36C, then stick a few C4s to the veh and run away, right click, boom! Good times. Last night a guy had a Vodnik and was layin down a massive amount of fire, so I snuck in behind him, stuck 2 C4s on him, and headed north. I pulled the trigger and got him AND an APC. Ah the sweet chewy goodness.
Nothing like killing 2 guys that are camping a spawn from far out, then smokin them and the medic after he revives them. Thats good for the soul.
Pullin off a flag cap single handed on a 64 person map is always satisfying, especially Market at Karkand or Backyard at Mashtuur.

Yes, this is the opposite of the guilt thread. Here's the first one that comes to mind for me:
I was playing Karkand at the MEC main base. One of our guys was crossing over to the train wreck (not by the bridge, he was using the other way) when an enemy jeep roles right up in infront of him. It has it's gun pointed right at him and and he screams "Enemy vehicle!" I release a shell from my tank turret and blow up the jeep, no doubt saving his life. He says "Thanks champ."
Another time was when I was playing Songhua Stalemate as anti-tank in a squad on VOIP. 3 enemy APCs role into our last outpost and capture it instantly, killing everyone in sight. My squad leader says "well, we lose" and I say "Not if I can do something about it." or something like that. I manage to destroy or force the driver out of all 3 (atleast 1 must have been damaged). I ultimatley got killed before I could cap the flag, but I felt like a hero until that point.
My BIGGEST FUZZIEST FEELING moment was just about any time before
the FULL release of BF2 came out..
The WORST CRAPPIEST FEELING moment was just about every moment
since then..

I love games like this too, it's amazing if you have a few decent guys that rally the whole team and manage to overcome the ticket difference to win, love those games.
I been C4ing tanks alot recently, that always makes me feel good when I blow that sucker and make it out unscathed.
Re: The moments that gave you that warm fuzzy feeling inside.
I was playing on Daquing the other day, and decided halfway through the game I didnt want to fly anymore. I bailed out, but all of a sudden saw a friendly tank underneath me. I Freefalled down to him, and got inside the moving tank without ever deploying my chute. One I was in, I got 3 kills, and capped a flag. The guy who was driving the tank later asked me where I came from, and I told him "The Sky".
Re: The moments that gave you that warm fuzzy feeling inside.
Hovering with a cobra at the top of the us main on Sharqi, spamming "hop in, hop in" untill someone trys to run and jump into my gunner seat. I back up a notch and they fall to their death. Damn I love it.
