I remember something similar posted a few weeks back, but can't find it.
Anyway, was playing Karkand 64 player last night. The map restarted for a second round and the server I was playing on did a 30 second or so countdown before play began -- i.e. everyone started at the same time.
I spawned at the factory flag nearest the shallow drough in the river as I like to always C4 that to keep guys from bum rushing through the front lines in a Humvee or APC to take our back flags. First thing I did was run to the ramp going into the river, throw down 4 C4 packets and ran back and climbed the stairs to watch for bad guys.
Just as I got to the top of the first 10 or so steps, a teamate calls out "enemy sighted" and I see a guy going prone overlooking the factory flag -- now this is less than 30 seconds after the map started. Luckily we took him out.
But I started wondering, how in the hell did this guy get to that position that fast? Is there some kind of superman bug like on DC's Docks map?
