Is there not teamwork in this game? Seems everyone is out for themself. Nobody ever gets on a squad to work out a plan they are all lone rangers. You try to pass off info and no one listens. Comanders that want to fight instead of lead the team and direct the fight, people that stand around whoring tanks, planes, choppers you name it instead of trying to work as a team. Is there a server that requires you to be on a squad and work as a team. I think a squad could beat 32 guys running around trying to fight over who's going to get to the plane or chopper next. I love this game but I am so tired of all this B.S. that come with it. It is so fustrating to play a game where no one wants to work as a team. I have seen some really good teams working together and they can get alot done very fast. and really tie up the enemy.

Mate, i did find that i was in a server where teamwork seemed to be a foreign concept, but nonetheless i tried following my commander around, helping him out etc.. and lo and behold all of a sudden the other blokes in the squad did it as well!!! So it sort of restored my faith in BF2. We could've done better i feel though, had the commander not been an inept little child with too much time on his hands to play this flaming game 24/7!Comment

I get teamplay in 1 out of every 100 games with LUCK. It sucks how hard it is to get teamplay. Meh, ill give up the ranked **** and play on unranked just because people aren't thinking about their rank there.Comment

You don't anything fancy to get teamwork; no squads no voip nothin. Any group of competent players all trying to win the game for their side will work as a team naturally. Anyone who has played bf2 for long enough knows exactly what the threats are to a win on any map and knows how to respond to them. Now admittedly, without central authority you're gonna get 5 more people running to the back flag than you need but thats not a bad thing necessarily.
Competent players don't need to be told what to do.Comment
