Hi All
I used to run BF2 on my laptop and now have a decent pc.

My bf2 box is in storage with other stuff at the mo so I copied the install from my laptop to my PC.

I was able to import the reg entry and 1.03 patch it fine.

Problem is it runs single player fine but on the net( I can log in and check my stats etc ) it just exists a few seconds in to connecting to a server.

I HAVE A REGISTERED / PURCHASED DVD BTW!

If any one out there has some light to shed on the subject it would be appreciated. Other wise I have to fish trough ALOT of boxes on my storage unit!

To be honest, with all the problems that BF2 has, to install it in such a fashion is only asking for trouble I'm afraid....

I don't understand really what is going on...

Are you crashing?
Are you getting an error message?

Never heard the 'storage unit' excuse before

No excuse - I just didnt want to search for the box - Im not even asking about serial numbers.

I guess you could say it crashes....It just exits immediatly to desktop when I try and connect to a server.

Seriously..it'll be difficult for us to actually know if you REALLY have a problem until you re-install it PROPERLY from the DVD.
