How many spins in a chopper do you do before you realize the pilot was either shot out or bailed out?

It has happened to me a couple of times and it always takes about 4-5 spins before I realize I'm all alone. Most of the time I save the chopper and bring the chopper back to the pilot if he was shot out.

OMG... i usually either gunning or repairing and i dont pay attention to the pilot much.. that situation has happened more than a few times yeah it usually takes a few spins for to me realize hes gone. i cant fly to save my ass i do try to mess around and fly it but to no avail,i usually die.

I Wud Have to Say 1-2 Spins,Cus As i Ride in Heli's I Always Pay Attention to the Pilots Seat Postion and Other's as Well,Most of The Time in a UH60 Blackhawk I'm Usaully The Only Side Gunner for It,and Juss Keep Switching Gunports Untill The Pilot Picks Up Others.

Hehe, actually, this happened to me the other night. I was flying and had a remarkably good gunner who was sticking with me all round. At one point, I caught an AT round in the teeth through the cockpit. I respawned and settled in for a long wait for the chopper to die then respawn...

Wait, what's that one the horizen? It's my chopper!! OMG!

Dude flew it back, landed, hoped into the gunner's seat and started doing the "get in" voice. I couldn't stop grinnin!

I think, by that point, I had made a good impression on him with my flight skills... Looping the attack helo to drop in on the enemy chopper's tail does have that effect.

I really gotta start paying attention to names. I'd love ta find this dude and play with him again!

Im like you i always watch what the pilot does its so dam anoying when they just us it to get from A to B and then bail on you without letting you know whats going on.

About 6 spins I think was the max I ever had (I was pretty high up in the air). I thought the pilot was trying to spin it so I could gun from all angles (sice i was actually getting kills while doing this), of course when I looked at the bottom of my screen and saw noone else in the chopper...

usually takes a blackhawt team about a second too long whenever i m95 out the pilot.

man its funny seeing "PimpYo [m95] whoever" and then a few seconds later like 5 "is no more"s or even better, someone gets pinned for a teamkill somehow.

When I watched my brother play and he was flying a chopper with a gunner. He got killed through the glass, and the gunner just kept gunning there while spinning for like 2 minutes. You could see him spin on the minimap. Pretty funny stuff.
Even one time when I was playing with my brother, I was piloting and he was in back seat. It was a transport chopper. I jump out and I don't see him anywhere, so I look at my minimap and he is still in the chopper. So I come to his room and he is still spinning around. Funny, funny stuff.
