I am curious what everyone thinks of turning on AA (to any level) or even AF. I have read some great articles on what AA and AF do and I understand their benefit from a graphics standpoint.
My current computer is as follows:
P4 3.0
1.5g memory
9800 Pro 128mb (seems great for a 128 card)
I can play on all high except for two categories and AA turned off. The game has no hesitation when the map loads and rarely any lag (depending on the server). Using the in-game FPS counter, my FPS does not seem very good though according to what others have posted, but seems pretty good to me for playability.
I am considering purchasing an X800 XL.
Will it make a gameplay difference in terms of a competitive advantage? What will an increase in FPS look like?
