mod trouble

when i download map pack 1 and map pack 2 or the 64 man single player mod the servers will not allow me to join, a message appears ref. to you cannot join with a modified game it prompts u try again with unmodified content. has anyone been able to get around this problem

you should not have modified your game files

how do you download the mod maps which automatically patch themselves in without doing so

huh? i dont think maps can patch themselves. Sorry i misread first post. Thought ou had edited something.
