Need help with Window 64-bit

Hi I have been looking all over for a patch to download so my bf2 will work with windows 64-bit if any one can post file or link I will be very greatful

it doesnt work on 64 bit i didnt think that would even matter u got pro xp???? ive got 64 bit cpu waiting for vista to come out

You can install BF2 on windows 64bit. It will say it's not supported but install it anyways.

Thats because it has a 32 bit emulator.

yea it wouldnt let me run it in all 64 bits, i heard some people have found out a way though, any ways, its runs insane on my comp.

You shouldn't need a patch, BF2 should run fine in the emulator. What's your PC specs? What kind of error is it giving you?

ummm dragon im 15 i saved my dam money and worked my nutz off, my specks are CPU AMD X2 4800, SLI : 3D fuzion 7800GTX 1 gig memory and i can install it on the 64-bit and when i go to run it the screen goes and flicks for graphics then returns me to desktop If anyone can think of the prob or solution You will be one of my heros

bf2 does not support 64 bit but your computer should run 32 bit for 32 bit programs ,it should run it must be something else! what does the game do??
could be your graphics driver??
could be firewall??
what does it do if it loads it should run
and if it runs and then fails i would say graphics driver or direct x prob

yea since this is my frist time trying SLI im gonna look into my drivers see if I loaded them right

Bf2 runs perfectly fine on 64bit windows... take one of the cards out or disable it...... sli is probably fudgin it up

Yes, it does sound like the drivers. There are several threads open in the support forum where people post their BF2 problems like this.

BF2 works just fine with XP64.

yes it does my mate runs XP64 and has run bf2 on it since it came out, no problems at all in fact it runs a lot better than on 32 bit windows.

It installs 32 bit programs in to a different program files directory and it doesn't cause a problem.
