Just wondered if anyone is using a Thrustmaster Top Gun Fox 2 Pro USB Joystick and how it is working out. I have hear good things about it , so I ordered one.

i cant straife or set left and right movement with mine u need one ov those twist ones grrrrr! why cant bf2 work with my attack3 stick?

joysticks without rudder control (strafing left/right) is a BIG no-no in BF2...

I got a Saitek cyborg evo wireless.
Yes its got rudder control.
I would reccomend it to anyone as it works GREAT with BF2.

I recommenda Keyboard and mouse, when being targets press F10 and avoid those missiles!

Looking like a negative on getting the feedback you wanted there markwarfare. Just to add to the valuable feedback so far :P - I just bought the Saitek X-52 and love it. Previous to that I had a Logitech Force Feedback with buttons that I used for rudder controls - rather than it having a twist feature.

If you mean logitech attack 3 ... that's what I am using.

A joystick with rudder control is a must. A good tool to help you is to go play Flight Simulator for 6 months first, practise on the Extra 300S, and come back. I assure you that you will never ever get shot down by an enemy aircraft again! Rudder twist on joystick is essential for sharper turns. I have a Saitek Cyborg Evo myself and its is working very well. Got my Aerial Service Ribbon easily...

OK guys, try not to laugh...

Yesterday I picked up a converter that lets me use my analog joystick with a USB port. This analog joystick is a 1994 CH FlightStick, 3 axis 2 button. I use the keyboard for rudder control.

Just learned how to fly last night, and I love it. I got some bombing kills, shot down some enemy choppers and even won a few dogfights. The only time I died was when I crashed on my own. That usually happened when I swithed camera angles to see where my bombs hit and got confused. I would roll upside down then, instead of pulling up, I would put it right into the ground :laugh:

I tried before to fly with keyboard and mouse, but it wasn't working out, so I gave up the flying until I got so frustrated because I was getting owned by good pilots. So, instead of bitching about them, I decided to become one.:evil:
