Ok, First i had this problem...
(a) Whenever i started BF2 his error would come up:
Shaders/static mesh.fx not found!!!_DO_check your working directory_and_sync your shaders folder before calling upon your local rendering programmer/GP (really!!!)
(b)I tried re-installing but it did not work. I uninstalled through start>ea games> battlefield2> uninstall and reinstalled but that did not work. Then I tried uninstalling through add/remove programs. However that did not work either when i reinstalled.
(c)I uninstalled once more (third time's a try, right?) and u uninstalled it. I went to reinstall it and everytime i try the install window closes before finishing the first disc. So, i can no longer install the game, and when i fix this problem the error stating
"Shaders/static mesh.fx not found!!!_DO_check your working directory_and_sync your shaders folder before calling upon your local rendering programmer/GP (really!!!)" will probably still exist.
Need Help!!
Thanks for any input.

Try installing from a completely different set of discs to isolate the problem. If that install works then you have a discproblem. If it doesnt you have a problem with your system
