Re: Commander Points?
Don't get me wrong, I think the artillery is great. I always use it to try and help my squads when commanding, and it is very effective in clearing the way for a squad to capture a control point. I'm just trying to find the logic behind this type of scoring, and if this is a reason why some commanders don't seem to use artillery. Is it because they are trying to score better?
I've killed a few people as a commander defending my artillery, and I don't get the "You killed xyz" message like you do as a normal infantry member, but I can't say for sure that I received no combat points for the kill. Does anyone know if a commander can get combat points while commanding, or are they limited to command points? If you can't gain combat points as a commander, then I can't understand why anyone would want to be a mobile commander.
