I pre-oreded it from GameStop yesterday, they said 22nd. Which sounds right, games are released on Tuesdays.

You are about to learn a lesson you'll never forget. NEVER EVER pre-order...why? 1) they often ship late not always but often 2) you over paid.

I pre-oreded it from GameStop yesterday, they said 22nd. Which sounds right, games are released on Tuesdays.

You are about to learn a lesson you'll never forget. NEVER EVER pre-order...why? 1) they often ship late not always but often 2) you over paid.

And 3) EA has already proven to rush DICE to release broken products.

Why pay extra for something that's going to be broken? Wait until they FIX the expansion, then if you still find it more appealing than the mods (which I'd say they'll release before EA will fix the game) you can get it, and save money.

I second that. The engine is done, all Special Forces is is a heavily marketed mini-mod that rips off the Hollywood view of Special Forces soldiers. Not to mention right after the BF2 release we saw plenty of marketing for it, so obviously it's a mod that's been started long before the BF2 release.

I'll wait for you guys to be paying beta testers for at least a month
before I take a look at it.. then at 3 months they should have a
patch out for it fixing all their bugs.. so for me, the release date is
around February.
