I recently modded an xbox controller to use on my comp. bf2 recognizes it and the buttons work fine. however, it wont let me use the right control stick to aim. does anyone know how to change this? there doesnt seem to be an option to use a non-mouse device to aim.

Re: Xbox controller
JoyToKey SHOULD work with it just fine.
Simply load up JoyToKey and hit the 'Preferences' tab and select 'use axes other than x and y'.
That should allow you to configure the right axis.
Simply double click on the axis you want to assign, and then hit the 'mouse' button and adjust the mouse x and y axis sliders appropriately.

Re: Xbox controller
i made my own. xbox to pc is a piece of cake like 4 wires. however i've also attempted a ps2 to pc twice, u need many different parts and perfect solders due to the bad quality of the wires inside the ps2 cable. i failed both times. thanks for the tip Talus.
also retail adapeters are around 15$ at radio shack
