BF2 crashing daily?

Hey,

Wondering if anyone here has had the same problems. My comp is very new and should be able to handle this game. But the problem is as follows:

BF2 will be running fine, and then freeze...that will be followed by a funny noise and then it crashes, probably happens once a day.... Will more ram help this?

Also sometimes I get a message saying something like "Gamespy reading error from server" or something like that.

Is it me, is it the server I'm connected to?

hmmmm... i have some crashing problems on a new PC tho they arent the same
sometimes wen i join a server it closes completely for no reason but works fine soon after...
hope some1 else has some useful info

I also get the application just shutting down in a flash but that only happens about once a week.
