Whenever I start bf2...

Whenever i start battlefield 2,this error comes up :

Shaders/static mesh.fx not found!!!_DO_check your working directory_and_sync your shaders folder before calling upon your local rendering programmer/GP (really!!!)

I have not changed anything on my computer since i played last o_0. Any suggestions?

Btw i can still play css, cod, dod etc. just fine

Try deleting your cache.

Delete any subfolders under:
..\My Documents\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\cache

There were 2 subfolders which i deleted but the same error keeps coming back up , Anyone else know how to fix this?

I had the same message after using system restore to try and restore my system to pre-Patch 1.03. I have since uninstalled and reinstalled, and no longer get that problem. So perhaps you could try that? (Still can't patch to 1.03 though)
