No matter how many times it is explained correctly (like birdkiller did) - it will still be debated by people who 'think' they know the real deal.

I wish more of these 'thinkers' would be readers and see how it is really done.

Bird Killer, my wife had to recently admit me to hospital due to too many 'How do I get commander points?' threads.

I started off by just explaining how it works (like you did) and then had to actually open the code to show people how it worked. They still didn't believe me so off it was to single player and screenshots and the like.

Now I just say "It's in the manual. Read it"

Please, for the sake of TotalBF2, don't go stir-crazy like I did...

Are you sure you get points for granted requests? When I've played commander, the only points I got were for arty kills lol.

Nope, you don't get any points from requests. You don't get any points directly from your action, that includes artillery kills (it steals points away from you instead).

well i only wanted to ask, and I have been way off, thanks for pointing out the errors in my way....

To be honest I am quite suprised that you DON'T get points for any actions the commander does, the only incentive to be commander is the potential fat aggregate score at the end...

Naa, I never play commander for the points. It's about 'fun' and the pleasure of directing a winning team.

None, you do not directly get points when a teammate kills an enemy under your UAV.
