    Blood Modding - give me guidance

    Welll i want to learn a bit more about bf2 editing and i would like to tell me how to make a blood mod , what files to edit and how to make parts of the kit not have a blood puff.

    you need bf2 editor. go to objects>effect>impacts>bhits>small>e_bhit_s_sold_b odyarmor ; then when you select the body part, go all the way down in the resources scroll, and select (em_bhit_s_sold_bodyarmor_dusbase), and play with the "rendering" key, "emitter" key, and the "particle" key.

        question, before i start. Will changeing them edit my bf2 files. it looks like a should drag them to the mod resources folder.

          when you save a edited file in bf2editor, the editor will make a saperate file; from the server & client zips. So what you need to do is, for example. If you edited a m16 tweak file, the editor will make a file called objects>weapons>handheld>weapon name, so what you need to do is. Copy and paste the m16 tweak file into the object_server.zip file.
