.... if you had handcuffs instead of the knife so you could take prisoners of war,
who would then respawn at the main base and there would be a ticket drain until they were rescued.

maybe an idea for a mod ?

Do you really think that people would play a game where they could possible be captured and have to sit out the rest of the game doing not-a-lot until they were rescued?

I dont think it would work in conquest, but it would be really cool in CTF.

Maybe cool if your into bondage - I dont see how being in a game not being able to play for a long period of time is cool.

this idea sounds kewl, but instead of waiting to be rescued you die and loss twice as many points, and if you capture 5 people in a round you can get like the handcuff badge or something like that

doesn't suit the game I think. More realistic 'deaths' would be better and more hit areas like liver, spine and bleeding thus affecting you running and stuff like that... now that would be cool:rock:

the prisoners wouldnt have to wait ages, because if special ops got arrested too they would be able to blow every one out with C4

They would be even searched with the prison guards using plastic gloves where the sun dont shine.. C4 explosives are not something they would be alowed to keep in the prison camp. This idea falls dead on the ground im afraid.

Just means I would have a hotkey mapped to my hand grenade - someone runs up to me for what looks like a cuffing...whoops dropped my nade...both die.

Cool idea - and it could be done in tickets. The player would not necessarily be held - just the pts for him so to speak. Each cuffing would be a ticket drain. The player could potentially free his own bleeding ticket.
