Isn't BF2 supposed to be rated M?

I just got temporarily banned from a server cuz i said the word "wtf" (actually typed). that reminds me of a question that i've been always wondering. why is BF2 rated T? isnt it supposed to be M? i dont find CS more violent than BF2, while CS is rated M. since most EA games are rated T, i think it's pretty weird.

there's no blood in the game and the ragdolls look cartoonish at best.

having no blood is probably one of the reasons, but the models in BF2 dont look cartoonish, actually i think it's one of the most realistic games.

yes i know. when you think about it, BF2 having no blood makes it a very bizarre game because of the extreme violence and to some extent realism that is potrayed in the game. as for the models, i meant the ragdoll death animations, not the models themselves(although some could argue that the american forces are racist cause there's only two black guys)

lol.. actually when the first time i saw the player models, what i thought was "wow, they included two black guys in it, that's nice, not too racist.

AT, support and assault are all 'black guys'. That's three. :) And besides, since when is a certain number of percentage of people 'racist'? That's rubbish! If there was a line in the game that says "Don't play as black guys, they suck because of their skin colour!" that would be racist. :P But the game never says that..

Anyway, whatever the game is rated, the admins can add a script to warn/kick for swearing. It's their choice.

That is some of the dumbest **** I've heard.

People are taking the definition of "racism" way too far. May be you are the racist if skin color matters that much to you that you actually noticed it.

As said, no blood, you don't hear the characters cussing (though you will from the players lol), heads don't fly off when hit with a tank blast...nothing you would see from games like Doom3, Half-life2, F.E.A.R (love the body parts flying in that one lol) and all the other M games. Personally I would love to see blood, makes it so you know you hit the damn guy!

No blood, no language, and usual T-game violence. Why do you think it should be rated M? Only languaged is typed by real people, and when people die, they fly around like rag dolls.

The game was made by a foreign team probably in the North, they dont know what a Mexican is.

There's swearing in the game, when using the 'sorry' voice chat sometimes you get the 'D***! Sorry." one played. Hardly enough for an M rating there though.
