BF2: Epitome of online trolling/greifing

is it just me, or does it seem like BF2 happens to attract the largest amount of trolls ever in any online game? i remember when i got into what was supposed to be my first joyous game of BF2 with the oman demo and being constantly teamkilled over and over again by some idiot sitting in the super mini gun thingy at the USMC carrier. unfortunately, there were no admins present and for some absurd reason tk punish was off and FF was on.
of course there's other countless bad experiences i've had during and after the demo with retail but i don't have to elaborate on them much since most people are well aware of the issues now.

needless to say, i myself have now resorted to playing like a jerk and i'll gladly run teammates over for no particular reason other than to laugh or launch rockets at spawning jets just to **** off all the flyboys on my team :). ohhhh, can't forget bailing out as a pilot in a full BH out in the ocean ROTFL. i would like to know what everyones opinion on this behaviour is and whether or not they have adopted similiar griefing behaviours after being exposed to it so much in BF2 and online gaming in general. also, i wanna know ask all the admins out there if it is even possible for them to admin such a large and chaotic game like BF2.

Whoever you are, I hope you should know that by being one of those jerks youre not making the game any better. I have yet to play a game without jerks and people who lie down in front of your jet when you get it first. Its jerks like you who ruin the game. Just because somebody tk you doest mean you tk them back. If there is no admin or kick vote, just join another sever because if a server has no admin or kick vote, its probably run by some fat guy living in his moms attic who thinks he knows how to run a server

well UNFORTUNATELY, the nature of the game isn't going to change anytime soon. if you can't beat em, join em eh? i myself have yet to play a game without jerks PERIOD and quite frankly i'm sick of putting up with it so i choose to ruin other peoples games when i join a particularly crappy server without admins :)

It's not BF2. The most popular games tend to attract the largest userbase. This means you'll have more 12 to 16 year olds playing. Viola. Question answered.

i doubt that. i play lots and lots of CS, CS:S ( http://archive.gamespy.com/stats/ ) on top of BF2 and i rarely see griefers anymore. even on FF servers with no admins there are hardly any griefers running around. of course, CS has been around for ages and has had the hell tweaked out of it by Valve and mod teams so it's not going to have as many problems as BF2. unfortunately, due to the chaotic nature of BF2, i believe it welcomes lots of idiots. the amount of ways that you can grief someone in BF2 is just absurd compared to most other games, popular or not.

go back to CS:S we dont want u here. i play all the time on servers without people like u and have a great time but then i do go into servers that have people like u doing what u do and it ruins the game. so congrats moron

rotfl you flopcake. did i forget to mention that i have a nice selection of servers in my favorites where i don't annoy bubonic idiots like you? the griefing situation in BF2 is only going to get worse and worse as time goes by so your empty words about "going back to CS:S" isn't going to stop the trolls, kthxgubai.

Oh boy, here we go again. I think everyone TKs from time to time but its not on purpose. When I get TKed I ask myself would I have killed me? If the answer is yes or maybe I dont punish. (dont you just love those auto punish servers) Its people like the guy In #1 that makes the rest of us have a bad game experience.

Instead of helping solve the problem you have made it, worse thanks a lot!
