Funniest "*** has won the round" Screens

Hey guys-

I just had this absolutely hilarious moment today while playing Wake Island 2007. So we win the round, it says "USMC has won the round (10 billion - 0)" and we're all staring at the bridge, and we're like "okay, load next round...." then suddenly a plane just came STRAIGHT ****ING DOWN on to the bridge. Made this HUUUUUUGGGEEE explosion. It was so ****ing funny. Everyone just burst out laughing on comms.

hehehehe - wish i could've seen that one.

i noticed a lot of commanders save their artillery for the end of the round. a couple weeks ago, the round ended and the artillery hit where a bunch of infantry was hanging out. bodies were flying all over the place. good times...

Thats pretty funny, always nice to see planes flying around bumping off stuff at the end of a round.

How could the plane have exploded? Collision damage seems to be turned off when the round ends and things just bump off of each other and the terrain.

Maybe it was nearly dead and on fire when the round ended?

Kind of something like that, was playing as the USA one game, and when we won, it played the cheesy stars spangled banner song, and just as it did, right where the screen was focused a massive artillary strike came down and blew up the area....truely american :p

Yeah, at default, everyone dissappears from the map, but the game actually "kills" everyone, so sometimes you can see bodies of people dying and dissappearing quickly, which is also why you see planes/choppers spinning out of control and crashing because the pilot was killed/disappeared.

Woah, that was a helluva run on sentence. :p

The game doesn't seem to like having dead guys laying around in the "won the round" screens. Once during one of those screens, these three bodies that were flopped down on the ground went ZING! off screen like they were yanked on strings.

Then there was another one on Sharqi. The MEC had won, and the US still had the tower. During the end, at least one US guy slumped over the ledge and landed splat on his face.

I had a time on dialen plant when it ended and the plane i was in came onto the screen and thenuclear tower like thing was on screen and the plane smacked the ground and just perfectly did a perfect loop-de-loop right into the top of the tower. lol we just stared at it like what the hell was that!!??? it was so funny when we realized what had happened. lol

Had a scrimmage one time on 16 player Karkand.. We stomped the other team like 89 - 0, never losing a single flag. The victory screen had a blown up M1A1 on it.. just seemed so fitting :)

One time at the end of a round at Wake. A mine went off on the bridge and one of the infantry men went flying and off the screen then a jet came along from the other way and speared the guy putting him to the otherside of the screen.

I burst out laughing.

my fave has to have been my own.

on the demo, worked out where the "End of Round" screen was and with 10 seconds to spare, i got there and typed "Look Ma! I'm on TV!"

Quite humourous to see that then watch my self die. Then a plane came screaming in and bounced off the building next to me, hehehe. Looks like someone was jealous of my TV appearance.

Watching planes and helis disappear into the pipes on Kubra dam always gets a laugh. :p
