Optimizing ur nvidia rig for cod2?

Anyone have any tips? i heard that the latest driver was optimized for cod2, well i downloaded it and it barely did anything, anyone have any ideas on any other drivers, or anything?

The rig im on now, is 3.2ghz, nvidia 6600 256mb, 2 gigs of ram. and well it runs like complete horse S**T, and unless i put it on 8x6 i can barely play it, and it looks like crap on 8x6, any help would be apreciated.

Well i thikn i fixed mine, i clicked "Optimal system settings." then uped the res to 1024, 1280, turned off aa, and bang it works great..

Runs Perfect on max possible settings at 1280 x 1024 on my 7800GT.

well you see, theres the difference u have a 7800 i have a 6600 :)

Both are GREAT!!! FEAR is an excellent game and any FPS fan should give it a go. COD2 is SO fantastic with atmoshpere and all that but for some reason is really struggles on my rig. I'm even using a BFG 7800GTX card. I knoe my CPU is a HUGE bottleneck (p4 2.8) and have since made the (smart) move over to AMD with and AMD 64 4000, DFI Lanparty Ultra Mobo and 2 gigs OCZ Platinum Ram.

Maybe now I will be able to get the smooth framerates all you AMD users have been having (and enjoying).
