Min players (to start) on a Ranked Server ??

Can someone tell me this number, and also point me to info about what can and cannot be done on a ranked server??

Is there a list of rules or Terms anywhere ??

10 players minimum.

If you ask us what you want to do we can tell you if it's allowed or not.

I want to kick/ban asshats, and people who use profanity and racial slurs.

who is this cain you speak of?

is it the Drater Cain?

6 player min for 16players
10 players min for 32 players
10 player min for 64 players

Most settings are now locked so there is not much you can change. However you can't run a knife/pistol only server or similar game changing rules.

All that is fine. Map rotation is no problem not is kicking people for those reasons listed though once you actually pay for the server it seems that you can kick whoever you want to really

What you can't do is enforce rules that ater the gameplay ( knife/pistol only) or where you ban commanders, etc...

There are also ranked rules for spawn times, etc. Check with your host.

these were the rules a few months back when I ran a ranked server. I dont think anything has changed.

Make sure the Ranked Server Settings are as follows.

Friendly Fire settings need to all be at 100%
sv.password = empty string (don't set password)
sv.numPlayersNeededToStart = (6 for maxPlayers 16, 10 for 32, 10 for 64)
sv.spawnTime 15
sv.manDownTime 15
sv.ticketRatio 100
sv.teamRatioPercent 100
sv.punkBuster 1
