Awards: Basic Knife Combat Badge, Basic Pistol Combat Badge, Basic Assault Combat Badge, Basic Anti-tank Combat Badge, Basic Sniper Combat Badge, Basic Spec Ops Combat Badge, Basic Support Combat Badge, Basic Engineer Combat Badge, Basic Medic Combat Badge

I've met all the requirements (yes they already show up in the BFHQ) why am i still a master sergeant?

I believe you need to have all of the requirements when you actually advance in rank at the 20k mark. If you dont have all of the badges, then you are a Master sergeant, if you do then First sergeant.

You cannot become a first sergeant if you are already a Master Sergeant.

Same with Sergeant Major at 50k.

Umm, no. You get an unlock at 50k regardless of wether you become a Master Gunnery Sergeant or become a Sergeant Major.

oh but on UBAR, it doesn't say unlock available with Sergeant Major. probably it just doesnt mention it, not sure.

then how about 2nd Lieutenant? is it an actually rank in BF2? it says the requirement for it is Master Gunnery Sergeant with 200000 points. so if u are a sergeant major and have got 200000, you wont be able to be ranked up to 2nd Lieutenant?

Considering that no one has actually gotten 200k of points. I think it is still up in the air. Still I think you can get 2nd Lt. if you are Master Gunnery.

Actually, UBAR has a still * note at the bottum saying you only get one unlock with the either rank.

Can you still be promoted after becoming a First Sergeant? UBAR says you need to be a Master Sergeant to be promoted any further, but doesn't say anything about First Sergeant.
