Do you use a joystick?

Does anybody use a joystick to fly the planes or helicopters? Or do you all use the mouse and keyboard?

i use the keyboard. i cant pull off too many stunts, but i can pilot enought to keep me alive longer then 2 minutes. that isnt much i know, but i think its pretty good.

I use a joystick + keyboard to fly jets, a mouse + keyboard to fly choppers.

I don't have a 'twist' axis on the joystick to assign rolling to so I use A and D. And I use A and D to turn left and right in a chopper.

I can't work out how people fly jets with a mouse, you have to keep shoving it all over the mousemat over and over to do a tight turn...

Its not hard, once you get the hang of it its better to aim than joystick. When dogfighting you pull your mouse back slowly, then when you lift it and move it back to top of your mousepad the jet wil keep pull back because of built in mechanics. Try it yourself.

Joystick here, used to be only-keyboard. Both work well enough to be a noob with.

i use a joystick and if you want to be a good plane pilot you have to however you can easily fly a chopper with a mouse and key board it is probbaly actually easier however i just use a joystick for that as well because i have one.

I'm doing an experiment where I use both joystick (right hand) and mouse (left hand). Yesterday my joystick malfunctioned during a round so I quickly switched to Keyboard and mouse and I noticed that my vulcan aim was a lot sharper.

So today, i'm going try and use both: Joystick for general flying, bombing, and dogfights; Mouse for vulcans.

Unless that is someone points out where I can set sensitivity of joystick for Logitech 3D Extreme Pro

I use only keyboard to fly, no joystick, no mouse. I dont know how it feels on joysticks cuz i never tried it, but for mouse, its way too inaccurate imo. i can do numerous stunts with the keyboard.

no, i hate joystick jockies. They might be able to take me out with a plane... but ill literally fly circles around anyone 1v1 in a chopper with my arrow keys :evil:
