1.03 Patch

Hi guys, just recently a few of my mates have been getting back into BF2, so i installed it myself, it ran fine without any updates, so then i find out theyre using 1.03, so i updated, no errors, nothing, worked 100% fine, i go to open the game.. Logo shows up, a few black screens then back to desktop, i dunno if anyone else is having this problem, but if you found a way around it, please share

Make sure all their drivers are up to date, and make sure you uninstall and clean them. Also try clearing the cache folder in " C:/Program Files/EA Games/Battlefiled 2/mods/bf2 " .
