C4 Help?

When I right click to switch to detonator, it goes to det but automatically switches back to c4 (without pushing anything else).

I've tried reinstalling, but it didnt fix it.

Help?

There was another thread but it was a slight diff problem than mine.

This happens all the time to me, i think its just a bug and you gotta live with it. Sometimes when i spawn, i will throw one c4 down and switch to detonator so the bug happens, but it only happens this one time so until i die again Im okay.

Yea practically same thing happens to me when im trying to throw C4 on armor or somethin... I switch to detonate it and it throws another C4 on the ground. I think its just you need to wait till it sets on the detonater for a few seconds, instead of trying to hit it right away.

I'll try what bigbay suggests.

Stampy your prob is slightly diff than mine it sounds like. I only right click once and it switches c4 -> det -> c4.

Anybody else have a tip/way to get past this bug? Anything that the rest of us dont know?

It's odd, because I hear alot of people suffering from this 'C4 bug'. And yet spec ops is my most-played class and it's never ever happened to me..

Maybe clean your mouse?

I dunno how dirty your mouse is, but maybe button 2 does some how get activated on your system.

I could be wrong though.

It is a bug... You (the user) cannot fix it. Some people thou have learned to get around it. If you can learn to throw C4 you my friend have just got the 2nd most powerful weapon in the game just short of the TV guided missle.
