  • Two speaker outputs?

Hi, I just bought a Logitech 350 Headset (its pretty nice). I have found that I can either only use my headset or my speakers. It would be nice to have both of them be able to play at the same time.

How can I make Windows play both at the same time?

Edit-- My speakers are on my onboard motherboard plug (its a regular 2.5/3.5 mm plug or whatever). The headset is USB.

That is not doable to my knowledge.

You can only select one output for audio in Windows (except for voice...but that has no effect on BF2) or you can split a stereo signal with a splitter...but you cannot run the same sound channel through a soundcard's speaker output AND a USB headset at the same time.

You can use the headset and have output from, for instance, TeamSpeak while the game sound effects come through the speakers...

Can I set WMP to play out of my speakers? And then my "default" or whatever is the headset?

        I don't believe so.

They may be some sort of 'mixer' app or something out there that might be able to re-route certain apps to certain sound devices though.

As far as windows is concerned...WMP and BF2 fall under 'Wave' audio.
