4500 Global hours played.

The Navy Cross, Golden Scimitar, and Peoples Medalion all require 4500 hours global time.

At 3 hours played a day, that would take 4 years.

A little steep I think.

It's been proven by several people who have the Navy Cross and/or the Golden Scimitar that those hour requirements are no longer correct as of patch 1.03 (or perhaps they never were to begin with?).

Those requirements were lowered with 1.03. You only need 250h.

think for the navy cross its something like 250hours as usa and 500 wins i aint sure but it has been proven that those reqs r wrong

That's really weird and you're right about the 1.03.


BF2S.com had a glitch earlier and had a bunch of errors on their awards and ribbons pages and was showing the text at the botton of my OP.

I saw that and thought to myself, kool, now I know how much versus the current post of "as far as we can tell....."

Anyway, my bad.

I have over 250 hours....does anyone know if the gold star X 100 as [team] and 500 wins [on team] were lowered as well?

Eh, it's 250 hours as that team, not global. So you need 250 hours on USMC for the Navy Cross, 250 hours as MEC for Golden Scimitar, and 250 hours as PLA for People's Medallion. I doubt the wins and first place finish requirements were changed, though, but if you're worred about that go play some 16-player servers. Very quick games and if you do even remotely well you can get a gold most of the time.

yeah they got it right. i got it right after i went over 500 wins. (already had 250 hours)
