Spawn Camping?

Just now, I was playing on FuShe pass. I was Chinese, spawn as Spec Ops and make my way over to the American airbase.

I am laying C4 on the runway, and blowing it up when a jet tries to take off, I run out, so I request s'more. Next thing I know..

KICKING!! -CTU-Garabaldi for Raping a uncappable static base!

Was I base raping? I was destroying their air assets and commander assets.. I would think that is a legitimate strategy.

Thoughts?

This is a big NO NO on most servers, but most of them permit "raping" by spec-ops only. The logic is, that sepc-ops have a "legit" reason for entering a non-cap base, to destroy the Com toys. If you would have entered, blown up everything including the jets that are in the hangar, I'm sure they wouldnt have kicked you out. The point is, get out of there when you're done.

I don't know if I would say you were 'raping' but I would agree that you were camping, only for the fact you placed c4 on the runway. Taking out the UAV, Sat trailer and artillery in an uncappable are all part of the game but I feel that that's all you should be doing if you're in the enemy uncappable main.
Of course, this is one of the many issues that not all are gonna agree on and thankfully there are plenty of servers out there running this game that finding one that suits your style of play isn't too difficult.

I would think you were doing your job, I mean the whole purpose behind the Spec Ops is to destroy enemy objects. Maybe the admin got mad cause you blew him up several times?

You were using a legitimate tactic.

They were kicking you because they are too narrow minded to think to defend their own bases. Cappable or not, they did not know how to adapt and overcome your strategy... so they would just rather kick you instead.

Anyone who says it is spawn camping is just making rules and excuses to make their gameplay easier and doesn't want a challenge.

going in and blowing up all the assets is not a problem, and then going to blow up some jets taking off, again nothing wrong. What you did wrong was, you continued to camp and kill the jets, resupply and then take out more jets. You might aswell have been base raping. It's no different then you staying at the base and shooting down the pilots ever time they try to get into the plane, car, chopper, tank, etc. it's no different then you standing right where they spawn and shoot them down.

you can't just kill them over and over and over in an uncapable base.

What's keeping the pilot from going out and hunting him down? What's keeping him from sweeping his runway for explosives to make sure it is safe to take off?

Nothing... except laziness.

People rather complain and kick vote than actually make an effort at defense.

there is nothing, i repeat NOTHING, funnier than c4'ing a jet just as it leaves the ground.

its also the only reliable way to take care of jets.

To clear a few things up..

I took out one jet.. that's all. Like I said, I was waiting for more supplies so I could take out some more assets. I did not shoot anyone on foot.. I wanted to stay undetected.

My problem is, I am a lone foot soldier. They can easily spot me out and blast me, and most likely, I won't want to waste the time coming all the way back. Why not just kill me instead of kicking me?
