ea splash screen 1.03

I didnt see any work arounds for this but im stupid and dont search well enough sometimes so i apologize if this has been talked about.

I use xfire to join friends in ames but now i cannot go directly into a game as the stupid EA msg pops up before xfire can send the ip to bf2 in order to join the server.

It really sucks because now i have to alt tab out write the i[p down then alt tab back every time i want to join a server. Does anyone else have this problem or is there some easy work around? It would be nice for EA to have a "dont see this again" checkbox on their stupid advertisement pop up they so kindly added to my purchased product!!!!!

Do you have the new xfire??

BF2AL works. You still see the splash screen, but directly after that you're taken to the map loading screen.

that spash screen realy sucks, even if you click the link, it keeps cumming up, nowbody asked for this,

yeah the al works cool but if a friend is in a server that isnt on my autoloader then sometimes my autoloader wont let me add it to the list. then i try xfire and no dice... screwed. all because some idiot at EA cant put a "dont show this again" on their spam crap pop up!!!!

That screen doesn't bother me any. You don't have to close it out to get to multiplayer. Just leave it there. No Biggie. I bet you won't think it sucks when you log in one day & it says, "Get the NEW 1.xx Patch NOW Soldiers!". LOL ... OK well, a little wishful thinking never hurt nobody!
