How can I change sounds in BF2??

Ok, very simple question...

How can I change certain sounds in the game so that a different sound is played? For example...

How would I change it so that when you leave the combat zone another sound plays instead of the guy saying, "Where are you going soldier? return to your post or you will be shot!"

or like, change the sound of when you fire the pistol to another sound instead of the "bang!" noise it makes...
