GeForce 6800XT

Hiya.

Thanks for taking the time to read.

I have a new GF 6800XT card - plz tell me i'm doing smth wrong when i can't get this card to work with BF2!?
I'v reinstalled the game, updated, downdated and sidedated the drivers with no luck what so ever
Re patched and yelled at it - no matter what i do, when i start the game, i get to the first BF2 pic, then im tossed back into windows with no message at all...!

From the manual i can see only the GT version of this card is listed, but please tell me it is a way to make this play??

What else do you need?


I've used a ATI Radeon 9600 Pro 256 'till now, but it died on me. Was hoping this card could be a good replacement..

ok...deleted the game folder under my docs for the 3 time and the game started!?

Damn moody software!

Form my spec, what would you reckon i should set the video settings in the game? I put it at medium at 1024. but to be honest, it doesnt seem any bette than my old card???

To my knowledge there is no such thing as a 6800XT . You probably have a 6800gt.

There is a 6800xt. Try googling first. Does it work with other games Askepott?

There is a 6800XT, no doubt. And your right, it's below the GT version "or some crap".

Like mentioned, after deleting the BF2 folder for the third time, the game started like its suppose to.
