how to play bf2 with a ATI 9250

hey, well i just spent 130 bucks on this new video card the 9250 and it wont play bf2...i did my research to all the sites said it would play it gateway, ea, etc BUT when i bought it and it diddnt play bf2 i found this letter type deal that said in small print way at the bottom we had problems with the 9250 online or something and i was wondering if i could do anything to get it to play..heres my specs

if anyone could help that would be awesome again everyone told my it would work...and i dont have a job lol so ive been saving for a while and im not gonna let this be a waist i really want to play this game...thanks again

If the card is on a PCI bus it will NOT run the game. The PCI version of the 9250 is unsupported! If it is AGP you need to set the "SmartGart" option in your Catalyst Control Center to 4x.

On a personal note, you got ripped off. I wouldn't pay $50 for that card.

You got ripped off. You could've gotten a much better card for around 30 dollars less off of newegg.

A 5200 WILL run BF2 on low so buy that if you don't want to build/buy a new computer but BF2 is gona look like crap.A gig of RAM would also help and yes you got ripped off but we all do one day:laugh:

Yea I think you can find the 9600XT 256mb for $120 and it runs BF2 with all medium settings.

A 9800 pro would be about 110, but that x700 256mb would probably be a great choice :).
