Infinite Fuel on Jets?

Well jets seem to be a hot topic lately. And I was thinking, what is it about modern combat that is different? Then it dawned on me. You don't have planes flying constant circles over a battlefield. They make a few passes, then go back to rearm and refuel.

What if they had to go back to their base or their carrier and actually LAND to refuel? This would open them up to possible attack from the ground. They'd have a kink in their armor. Then, if a guy is owning you in a round, you simply drive your jeep over to the hanger and wait. When he lands you wave (oh I wish there were emotes in this game) and blast him.

And EA could configure the refueling time based on type of plane and adjust it to a level that the pilots wouldn't complain too much.

Anyways, just a thought. Flame suit is on. Fire away.

Have you ever tried to land a plane....have you even ever tried to get a kill with a plane...these are not easy things...I am getting sick of the whining over planes....get over it move on they are fine....its a friggin PLANE with big phuqin bombs...it is going to do some damage...

Then why not make all vehicles go back to base to refuel? I think the problems people have with planes are being exaggerated by a very vocal few.

yup and the transports, tanks, helos, planes, etc. are gonna have to be taken out of service now and then for maintence....

oh and where are the sand storms we are going to need sand storms....Oh and what about the occasional Shock and Awe....Im sure that will **** off some players that arent on the US side when a big phuqing MOAB gets dropped on em...

Pleople that complain about vehicles in this game are nothing but sore loser and cant take getting killed...look it happens we all get owned from time to time, it's called life so just play the damn game and quit bitchin about stupid shizzle...bitch about somthing important like the shatty TK system...

I THINK that the problem with the BF2 community (and pretty much every other gaming community) is this....

The lazy, weaksauce pansies that get frustrated after being pwnt decide their best course of action is to DEMAND THE DEV'S CHANGE THE GAME.
Personally I'm disgusted that game dev's have begun to cater to these "lazy" gamers that just want to *pop* the game in and be instantly great.

No you are right...its getting retarded....The people that complain about things if you look at there stats they usually have no time in the item they are complaining about...therefore they have no idea how hard it actually is to do...they just think its easy...like landing a plane...the runways are no where near long enough for that...I mean I'm no expert jet pilot but man I have only landed a plane succefully a couple of times....and doing that I must have made like 6 passes before I got it....

That was the good thing about DC it had a learning curve but with BF2 it all really easy and there is no learning curve at all.

How about real-length runways too? And years of training on flight maneuvers and target identification before you can even press "E" to get into the jet? Don't forget air-brakes, engine flame-outs, aileron failure and all the other things that would make BF2 realistic.

Since the introduction of planes to the battelfield in real life, they have been a dominate force. Think about it.....A high flying, fast moving, heavy weapons platform. Learn to deal with it or get up in the air and defend yourself
