Okay mesa done with BF2 until..

[The Question]

I am done with this game until they trash the punish feature or change it. I ran over some guy in a jeep who just spawned in front of my jeep while driving and I'm punished.

Okay how can you blame me for chance, fate, or your own faults? I guess I'll play Republic Commando until Battlefront II comes out. I choose to quit the current game instead of running the person down and other things.

Do I have to quit or is there a second choice?

Are their certain servers that have taken that feature off or something? I tried unranked servers and they just seem to lag so much.

Get used to it, if you are punished just kill a lot of people and get the points back. Everyone punishes (except the people at TBF2) and you have to live with it. I will admit that i punish everyone except my friends for anything they do. Don't think it's your fault for being punished. They only do it because they can and to **** you off.

I hardly ever punish people, only when the TK was intentional or the person was pulling off some stupid-ass stunt he should've known was gonna end in death... I absolutely HATE people who punish for everything and therefore I keep my own punishing to a minimum...

You and all the other thousands of guys complaining about being punished for TK's should try doing this. Forget about the f-ing TK's and the minus points it gives you and play for fun. It's a novel concept I know, but give it a shot. You might find a lot less stress in your life.

You have a good point because I have all but one of the unlocked weapons so I can't be playing to get them now. But it's just wrong man to drop a persons score due to chance or a retard and even......fate..

But the last time I checked games were made to be enjoyed. And most of us are not having a very good time because of this one problem.

Seriously, what is so bad about being punished? I am fairly certain it does not affect your score and, unless you are getting booted A LOT for TKing, what the hell is the f-ing problem?

I know they are idiotic and frustrating. . . but just ignore it! It is so easy.

to your original post, there are some servers out there where the TK is on but the punish system is off -- those are aight, hard to find but in the long just screw it and keep playing, karma will eventually work it all out and that guy who punished you is gonna have his pet goldfish poisoned with cyanide and his mother raped by a syphilitic bear

One problem....you can get kicked and banned form the server for reasons that are not your fault...now that isnt fun at all regardless of the points you lose...

I turned off the TK punish on my server after just 2 days, half of the chat log was people arguing about punishing.

Being punished means nothing. You still get -4 points.

Meaning you're quitting because an extra bit of text appears on the screen every now and then.

Seriously, it's a big problem, I saw people punish in less than 1 millisecond, like they had the finger on the page down key !

If only there was a reward/badge/medal for the forgive option ... it will be over with the minus score.

If I had a medal for everytime I forgave someone I would have A LOT of medals then.
