  • I love group thinking on BF2

if we all stay here by the jet spawn point, we'll all get one at once, forget taking flags.

i swear half my team did this on oman once... we had like 24 people on our team, and 10 of them just sat at the runway.

I'm a decent pilot, i think it's fun as hell, but when i spawn, if theres no plane there, i dont even worry about it, i figure we prolly need spawn points more than we need to fight about planes.

And while you're busy using the jet as a taxi to get to a flag, the other teams jet is busy bombing your teammates because you aren't there to keep him occupied.......

i agree, waiting with 2 or more ppl is just stupid.

same things happen with attack choppers.
Maybe because many want to be a <whatever>"specialist" this happens so much, or they just want to better their K/D ration.. real annoying.
I personaly like to switch to another role in a game and when the opportunity arises i catch a plane or attack-heli, but when i need to be infantry sniper/medic/support i enjoy it just as much.

You guys need to get into the planewhore mindset. If you want a good kill death ratio, you're going to need to kill a lot of people without dying. The easiest way to do this is by bombing with a jet.

Oh noesss! some1 took your jet. What are you to do? Going on foot or taking a vehicle could end disastrously as you might get killed and ruin your k/d ratio. Maybe if you wait patiently by the airfield, you could grab the plane quickly after it spawns.

Wow, the plane rarely dies, and when it does, people beat you to it. there must be another way. oh duh! Obviously if you can get your whole team to stand on the airfield, you will be rewarded with an infinite amount of jets! of course, telling anyone could prove disastrous. Just stand on the airfield with the other people who know this, and hope the rest of the team sees you and catches on...

I only grab I plane when nobody else is flying them, which is very rare.
I been thinking buzzing the plane campers and getting some extra road kills.

if it takes you 30 minutes to get ANYWHERE in a battlefield 2 map by
foot, you should hang up your belt and play something else..

you just made a point Ive been making since BF2 came out, for me..

that is, goof offs like you are useless to your team when they are
waiting and waiting.. (and fighting each other...) for jets and choppers.

The guy who started this thread is correct... its a sad sad part of BF2.

Look at all you jet and chopper goofoffs team points at the end of the
rounds... nearly nothing to speak of..

so, go ahead.. get your jets and chase each other around in circles
all game... whee.. thats real helpful.
