Hard life of jet pilot

You see jet, walk to it, get run over by some noob and he takes your jet.
Some noobs take jet only as transport or to ram choppers.
You get bombarded by other jets while waiting jet to spawn.
You are in jet, starting to fly and get blown up because enemy engineer planted mines on runway.
The enemy chopper flies to hangars, kills everyone waits jet to spawn and steals it.
When you are finally in air, you see enemy vehicle, drop bombs and see that you get punished for teamkilling.
While flying for resupply you notice that there is enemy Vodnik and it damages you very hard.
You kill that Vodnik, resupply. See chopper. Chopper drops flares, you get a lock when you must turn away. On second and third attemp same thing happens.
You see enemy infantry only by UAV...if you have commander.
Being nervous about every beep sound, automatically press F11 upon sound.
Upon seeing enemy, you drop bombs (with fighter) and see that bombs fall just between the vehicle.
You drop bombs to see that one of them that supposed to hit, didn't explode (yeah, it happens alot if you don't dive)
Go again to ressuply, ram chopper from your team that somehow turned up on runway. 6 teamkills and ban from server

Talking about easy life.

Noticed you didn't mention getting shot down by AA in your post? The spawn bombing and claymores/C4 are the only way to fight jets without a proper balanced AA solution.

Your fighting noobs for jets because it's possible to ground pound infantry at spawn points and rack up stats like these...



You only metioned bombing vehicles, so I'm not accusing you of this, but it happens and infantry and the other team will do anything to keep the jets out of the air, because once up there is no way to effectively fight them from the ground.

Good luck getting in the cockpit though and see ya on the BF.

PlaneWhore is a good pilot though... people make it sound easy to be a good pilot, when really it takes a lot of practice.

When I heard "Hard life of a jet pilot", i laughed. It must be really hard to fly over a flag, drop a load, and at the end of the round have a score of 100-2.

It is kind of hard some times, you try to contribute and sometimes end up loosing alot, cause of unintentional TK. And not all the time can you get alot of points, and so, you can do it too, just get on a plane, and dont complain about someone bombing you, because guess what your team has planes too, and im pretty sure they are using them and people on the same team of the guy that bomb you are getting bomb too.

You failed to mention the newest tactic employed by kiddie newbs.

You beat someone to a jet to they stand in front of your jet, forcing you to either TK so they can punish you, or backing up to take off around them. Of course, by then, the enemy pilot has come by and bombed your ass.

Fun. I just TK them now. I LOVE TKing newb kiddies who jump in front of your new tank/plane/jeep.

dont you guys get it!?! when pilots are waiting their turn they are not invulnerable! that is so not fair. pilots should be unable to be killed at any time.

you think its easy but you dont know how hard it is. while waiting for the jet to spawn and shooting at team mates feet on the airfield, the enemy is able to actually -kill- me. honest to god, ppl can shoot me! that it so messed up! you targets should have more respect. you dont know what its like to be shot at while you are on the ground.

I think youve all missed out this one noobs that unlock the M95 just so they can shot you when your just about to take of and steal the jet for themselfs without damaging it (im talking team mates here). Me personaly that realy **** me off so i go of login with another account log back onto the same server and then killem with it untill i get kicked and banned then i go login with another account and do the same. I dont realy care if this is childish but the way people act its so anoying some are great and they actualy que up and TAKE THERE TURN like me. But thinking you have devine right to any vehical in this game is ballocks if someones stood right there before you waiting for it letem have it and sure as hell dont TK them for it.

Man I agree with that statement. When bombing I fear having my allies punish me, when I use mines I'm scared of an allies being killed by them and punshing me, scared of using claymores that my blind allies walk into.

Funny how you see all these faqs about sniping and stuff and they say use your claymores in such a way ect. Well I guess they are playing with cool people up in heaven.

Just a quick question, but have you ever played an online video game before you picked up BF2? Just wondering, because in just about every other game, either built in or via mod (AMX for example) there is a punishment system.

Really, I think you're letting the gratuitous punishers win by getting so upset about it that you won't even play anymore. If you take this attitute in life every time you get picked on, you're probably going to end up being very bitter.

I did not need to be picked on to become bitter. It was other things in my life that have to do with my parents and a girl I knew years ago. Those are the things that made me bitter.

And does Battlefront I count? If so yes I have played online games.
