Connection Problems

I was playing in multiple servers recently and when I join it says I have a connection problem and it seems like my computer never gets caught up to the server. The problem text stays on the screen and I can barely move or do anything because it states I have a 1000 ping. However on some servers I am fine, but it's not that the ones im having problems on are very far away or anything, because I ping them well!

are there any netspeed or internet settings in BF2 that I can tweak to correct this problem?

Well, make sure you have xDSL/Cable selected in the General Options screen instead of LAN.

you might try going to www.testmy.net , they have a lot of guides there for tweaking your connection and a great forum for help.
