MR-444 Crosshair... off by about an inch =x

So, Using the ultra-complicated method of drawing a blue dot on my screen with a sharpie, and comparing each of the weapon's crosshairs, I started to realize why the 92fs seems wholly superior ot the mr-444... the mr-444's iron sites are WAY lower than they should be. All weapons fire dead center in the screen and you can test this out and confirm all you like, after realizing this, you will see that the mr-444 and a few others tend to be really off on where the iron site is actually drawn. In the mr-444's case, it is completely above the entire pistol, hovering an inch or so higher on my screen, which kinda makes shooting faces rather difficult =X

no good to compare it that way any number of factors could account for what u see and what happens in game with pixels

try shooting at a wall or somthing that you can refernece in game take a shot go up and see where it hits the pixel should remain long enough fo you to take a look to see where it hits

Yea the sights on that pistol ARE off...whenever i have to use it in iron sight mode, you have to aim below your target to hit it...much much prefer the 92fs

one thing i hate about the gun, is if you look at the sights, they are backwards...the front post sight is on the back and the rear "U" is on the front...talk about in real life how confusing?!

Yeah, I found this as well, it can really **** me off trying to shoot people with it.

                  Spec Ops\Sniper pistol > *

I'd have about 80 percent of my 750 pistol kills with the Spec Ops pistol, it and the DAO are probably the only "spam" guns that are really reliable killers when spamming. DAO because you are usually a meter away, Pistol because once you line up a non-moving target, all you have to do is hit the shoot button repeatedly, the pistols have no sideways recoil at all.

I also think the spec ops pistol has more power behind it.

You're free to think that, but you'd be wrong...

                      92FS / MR-444 / QSZ-92
                      Magazine Capacity: 15
                      Magazines Carried: 7
                      Damage: 20 per shot
                      Rate of Fire: -
                      Accuracy: Medium/High
                      Min Deviation: 0.5
                      Deviation Standing/Crouching/Prone: -/-/-
                      Deviation Added per Shot: 0.125(3.5)
                      Deviation Mod when Zoomed: 0.5
                      Recoil: 0.5-0.8
                      Recoil Mod when Zoomed: 0.25

All kits come equipped with a pistol, either regular or silenced. The pistol is a very useful sidearm that shouldn’t be underestimated. It performs just as well standing and kneeling as it does prone, it is accurate (especially when zoomed) and has a good rate of fire. Its relatively low damage requires five hits to the torso to kill a healthy player, but with practice five rounds can be put on target very quickly, and head shots are even more damaging. The ability to effectively engage targets out to long range is also useful, as is the large ammo load.

There is no damage or accuracy difference between the silenced and regular pistols.
The only real differences between the various pistol models is the “sight picture”, with the un-silenced 92FS having perhaps the best sights. But practice with any of the pistols can overcome this.

Actually the MR444 is better than the 92-FS. It's easier to aim because you can actually see your target. The 92 blocks your target unless you are really close.

I guess if that's correct, then they are the same, I still prefer the silence though. I feel that I get a better chance of killing with it.

Which one is better is a matter of opinion not fact.

I put a small dot on my monitor and tried this early on. Was hoping to do non-scoped headshots - but it never worked. Unscoped the M95 will go everywhere but at your target. HOWEVER for the AT - it worked like a champ!!!

weapons have a modifier when zoomed. sniper rifles have the worst unzoomed accuracy but the best zoomed accuracy.

you cant shoot yourself in the face w/ a sniper rifle in bf2 if you dont use the scope.
