Resident Evil: Outbreak

Well I bought this game at EB for a mere $60AU. I am a huge Resident Evil fan so I thought this would be another game for my collection but there is something I don't understand. What is the Virus Bar? I've looked in the manual, in Walkthrough Notes, I've searched everywhere but with no luck.

Can someone please tell me what this Virus Bar is used for?

online if you get bitten by a zombie or something. your virus bar goes up and you turn into a zombie and you can attack your teammates. it might actually rise on its own i cant recall

it only works with online play if my memory serves me correct. i know it sucks, i wanted to zombify myself in singleplayer. and the online play is so boring no voice support!

So then really the virus metre means nothing in single player, nothing to worry about? That's not too bad then. By the way Alka I bought a PSP with Metal Gear Acid, pretty sweet. I also found out that the codes from Snake Eater give you kickass cards! Do you know if you can play multiplayer on Ac!d via WIFI or is it only PSP to PSP?

yea it has mulitplayer its only Adhoc mode i think . but with Xlink you can play with other people over the net im pretty sure. and also the virus meter does matter in single player. if it fills up your toast.

Man Resident Evil: Outbreak was a chunk of CRAP!!!! I'm trading it in that's final. Fair enough it had an awesome start movie but the game is in no way fun to play. Zombies just keep spawning into the room, the Virus bar goes up way to fast and the item swap thing is stupid... What a waste of money...

It's out on PS2 in Australia tomorrow, looks like that's another $90 out of my wages

Dont waste your money on that....Resident Evil 5 for the 360 is coiming out sometime in 06 and from what i have seen and this coming from someone who has played RE about 5 mins his entire life looks awesome its flat out amazing and i cant wait to get my hands on it...

RE4 is well worth the money! but both outbreaks are pure crap
