I don't see any where in this thread where anyone said that they wanted the system removed from roadkills and mines. In fact, I don't see much of that even in the thread about TKing with mines.

I brought that issue up because it gets lots of attention. It's something that I would like to see tweeked, myself. I am a believe in the power of mining. I've got set patterens I use that effectively deny entrances to the enemy while still alowing friendlies to get out.

However, the number of careless or totally un-observent people that either hit the mines or freak out because they don't see that I've left nice big holes they can get through makes it a pain to actually use.

I don't see an easy fix for it, though. I'd like to hear if anyone has some good ideas (and thus sticking to my guns about not whining in favor of discussion).

Me, I just think that by forgiving the person that should make it so nothing negative happens to him.

Naw. I'm charitable, but not to that level. Negitive effects for "Oopses" even when forgiven teaches you to avoid the oops in the first place.

I think there needs to be a system in place so that ranked servers track how much you TK.

Similiar to the Planetside system. Anytime you damage a unit you recieve a certain amount of points, these points are tracked by the ranked servers and if you cross a certain threshold then you are banned from all ranked servers for 30 minutes.

Certain thing would need to be changed like standing on the runway as a plane takes off. Do it often enough and you could get a pilot banned, so a check guard would need to be in place to punish both parties.

Works pretty well for PS.

I'd say keep it or make it punish more. Why not just get rid of the lame point system instead? The point system gets in the way of teamplay anyway.
